Here's a better breakdown of what you'll be learning inside this training.
This module examines how our lifestyle affects our health. It discusses the prevalence of PTSD among first responders and the medical community. It also lists 20 wellness myths that will be dealt with during the course of the training.
This module introduces the process of self-assessment. There will be a total of ten in this course. They are explained and begin in this section. Module 2 contains four self-assessments.
Attitude is the foundation of Psychological Body Armor™. This module consists of three sections. The biology of PBA will be discussed and explain how you can literally change the structure and function of your brain beginning with our thoughts.
Research on the benefits of exercise and its effect on the brain will be covered. Three exercise myths will be debunked in this section. (Don't worry, you won't have to become a gym rat to be healthy.)
Wellness-promoting and wellness-eroding nutritional factors will be reviewed in this module. The major topics are foods of convenience (fast foods,) Stimulants, Protective foods, and eating patterns. The best supplemental vitamins and herbs will be listed (Sources: Johns Hopkins Medicine.) We'll also let you know the one drink - more than any other- that may protect your nerve cells.
Adversity and challenge are part and parcel of the world in which we live. Our bodies require the opportunity to restore and recharge. This module contains four prescriptive options to aid in that restoration.
Interpersonal support is the single best predictor of resilience. It is a force multiplier. It expands Psychological Body Armor™. This module reviews the importance of collaboration and support.
This module briefly reviews the notion of spirituality and faith … it is NOT about religion per se. Spiritual health is mentioned by every current credible source on the topic of wellness, so it is included in this module.
At the conclusion of this course, you will leave with your very own Personal Psychological Body Armor™ Action Plan. You will be designing your own plan from thirty-six prescriptive recommendations. Since our goal is not to introduce more stress into your life, we recommend you begin with no more than two self-care actions when you get home.

I like the interactive portions. Sometimes when its "at your own pace" learning, it can be hard to stay connected and retain the information. The interactive portions help with this.
The content and the way it is laid out made it very easy to follow and understand. The extra reading materials were also very helpful.
Supercharge your resilience.
